Dave has been the GP Principal at Bixter since January 1984. He is the Aith Lifeboat doctor and the local GPASS Users Group Co-ordinator.

Andrew has been the Associate GP to the Walls and Bixter practices since October 2002. Andrew has worked as a GP in Lerwick for 20 years.

Caroline was appointed as the Shetland LHCC GP in February 2003. Her duties include working in Bixter to cover Dr MacFarlane when he is working for the LHCC.

Judith has been the Bixter practice nurse since October 1996. Judith has trained to run asthma & diabetes clinics.

Patricia is the district nurse & midwife attached to the Bixter practice.

Val is the Health Visitor for the Bixter and Walls practices.

Liz has been the Bixter practice secretary & dispenser since July 1988. Liz has trained to run the dispensary and is a qualified dispensary assistant.

Janice has been the Bixter practice receptionist since November 1997. Janice has trained to run the dispensary and is a qualified dispensary assistant.

Leanne has been the Bixter practice receptionist since June 1999. Leanne has trained to run the dispensary and is a qualified dispensary assistant.

Susan has been the receptionist at Bixter practice since December 1999 and has extended her role to include Practice nursing duties from April 2006.

Mag is our community physiotherapist who has a special interest in neurological problems. She holds clinics in Bixter on Thursday and Friday mornings.
